PMAVs 30th year
PMAV 30th Anniversary
The PMAV was established in 1980 at Castlemaine and we are returning there in September to celebrate 30 Years of protecting the rights of prospectors and smaller-scale miners.
We are hosting an informal dinner on Saturday 4th September at the Castlemaine Town Hall. If you are interested in attending please email us for more information.
For those that have secured a booking, Pre dinner drinks will be served at 6.30 pm and you will be seated at 7pm.
Retired Mining Warden, Noel Laidlaw, will be the dinner speaker as we take a trip down memory lane and reminisce about the highs and lows of the past 30 years.
On Sunday 5th September, we are holding our AGM at the Castlemaine Town Hall. The AGM is open to all financial & life members of the PMAV. The meeting will commence at 1pm.
Following the AGM we will be having a fundraising auction of prospecting equipment including a Minelab GPX4500 kindly donated by Minelab Electronics plus lots of other fantastic goods and services. The auction is envisaged to commence at approximately 3.30pm.
Interested and supportive members of the public are welcome at the dinner and the auction. Greenies need not apply!
Come along & support the people that have supported your association.
See you there.
